The Fighting Irish are traveling to Florida tonight to take on the Bulls of South Florida. USF is second to last in the big east with their record of 12-18 (3-14) with conference wins over Rutgers (twice) and Syracuse. They aren’t the most talented team but it’s always hard to win away from home. The Bulls are led by freshman Dominique Jones who averages 17.0 points per game for South Florida. Their other star is senior Kentrell Gransberry who leads the Big East in rebounding, the only person in front of Luke Harangody. Notre Dame is hoping to improve it’s record of 23-6 (12-4) to tie Louisville for second place in the conference. The Cardinals lost to Georgetown today in a close one. The Irish would get a number three seat in the Big East tournament with a win and be in good position for the NCAA tournament seeding. I’m a little busy and will have to cut this preview short. Sorry. This game is on at 7:00 and you can catch it on ESPN360. It should be a fun one to watch and as always, Go Irish!
