Bring on George Mason, Irish Receive #5 Seed

Notre Dame received a number five seed in the NCAA tournament and will face George Mason, a number 12 seed. The game will be in Denver, Colorado on Thursday, March 20th. If the Irish beat the Patriots, they will face the winner of Washington State/Winthrop.
George Mason is a team that finished the regular season with a record of 23-10 (12-6) while playing in the Colonial Athletic Association Conference. This is the cinderella team that made it to the Final Four two years ago.
