Notre Dame Men’s Basketball team defeated Brown today, 87 to 54 in South Bend. The Irish improve to 9-2 on the year and start to prepare for North Florida on Monday, again in South Bend.

Notre Dame men’s basketball team just barely defeated San Francisco yesterday in their last game before Christmas. Once again, Harangody led the Irish in scoring with 23 point, and was assisted by multiple players with 10+ points. Notre Dame improves to 8-2 heading into the break and will face Brown on the 29th in South Bend.

Trevor Robinson Finally Commits

Trevor Robinson of Nebraska committed to the University of Notre Dame on Thursday night. The 6′6″ Offensive Guard had been committed to Nebraska but changed his mind and went with Charlie Weis and the Irish. Notre Dame now has 22 Commits from the 2008 class, and still looking for a couple more.

Notre Dame’s Men’s Basketball team won at the Joyce Center for the 25th consecutive time on Saturday. This breaks the previous record of 24 straight wins. The Irish go on a long stretch now, and don’t play again for two weeks. Notre Dame will be playing San Francisco at 4:00 on Saturday, December 22nd.

Irish Defeat Kansas State

Notre Dame’s Basketball team improved to 6 and 2 last night with a win at Madison Square Garden over the Wildats. New York’s own Kyle McAlarney lead the Irish late in the game to put it away. He finished with 18 points. Sophmore Luke Harangody set the tone early in the game, scoring 15 of his 19 points in the first half. Harangody also grabbed a career high 14 rebounds. Northern Illinois is up next for the Irish, as they try and set the record of consecutive wins at the Joyce Center. The game is at 7:00 ET on December 8th, Saturday night.
